Corrosion and Chemical
resistant
Aulland® molded grating is manufactured
in an open, heated mold that resembles a large waffle iron.
Continuous E-glass fibers are placed in the mold in
alternating layers and completely wetted out with resin.
This continuous process produces an integral, one piece
construction which provides excellent corrosion resistance
as well as bi-directional Strength. Many types of mesh sizes
and panel sizes can obtain as per different molds design.

Corrosion is a major problem
for metal grating, stair treads and other products in many
different industries such as chemical plants, food and
beverage factories, water and wasterwate facilities,power
facilities. Aulland® molded grating were
particularly designed to provide safe,long-lasting and
economical and worry-free solutions in environments where
chemicals and other corrosive materials attack and destroy
metal.

Slip-resistant
Aulland® molded grating would have a
meniscus(concave) top surface for slip resistance after it
is extracted from the mold. Should a grit surface be
specified, the grit would be either bonded to the top of the
completed grating panel as a secondary operation or embedded
to the top of grating before heating. Aulland®
has three types of surface systems to offer maximum slip
resistance for most application,one is concave top surface
formed naturally during process which offers sufficient
protection, the others are embedded grit surface and
post-cure grit surface both providing superior protection
and last longer due to wear and tear. Diamond top or gritted
cover top are available upon request.


Slips and falls are the major
enemy in many different industries which can cause many

slip-resistant molded gratings have consistently reduce
slips and falls in industrial facilities. Aulland®
grating, stair treads and covers, and plate feature a

strength-to-weight ratio
Aulland® molded grating manufactured as a
composite of continuous fiberglass strands and high quality
resin is integrally constructed for strength, it is less
than one-half the weight of steel grating allowing easy
removal for access below floor level and installation with
no heavy equipment and less manpower. Properly installed,
Aulland® molded grating meet speficied
load requirements for steel and are more impact resistant
than metal.

Fire
retardant
Aulland® molded grating has flame
spread rating of 25 or less depending on different resin systems
as tested in term of ASTM E-84. Test Report can be offered
upon request. |

Easily fabricated and installed
There is no necessary to use heavy lifting
equipment or expensive tools for the fabrication and
installation of Aulland® molded grating,
it can be easily carried by two workers, can be cut using
standard circular or curve saws, no welding request. Nantong
Power Plastic & Rubber is able to do any cut job according
to drawings offered by customers instead of on-site cutting.
